The tender announcement of Israel for the construction of 77 new housing units in illegal settlements in East Jerusalem is contrary to international law and cannot be accepted.

The continuation of such illegitimate practices undermining the ground for the two-state solution deepens the doubts in the international community about Israel’s sincerity towards the peace process.
