H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey will attend to the Expanded Executive Committee meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on the "Latest Developments in the Occupied Territory of the State of Palestine - Israeli attacks continuing in Gaza" that will be held tomorrow (12 August) in Jeddah.

During the meeting organized by the initiative of Turkey, the Israeli attacks against Gaza and the efforts toward a sustainable ceasefire will be addressed; as well as the opportunities for assistance and support to Palestine, especially to Gaza, will be discussed.

Turkey will continue with its efforts toward ensuring a negotiated sustainable ceasefire between Israel and Palestine, and its initiatives at the international organizations.
