Paying the first Presidential visit from Turkey to Great Britain in 23 years, President Abdullah Gül is the second foreign head of state after US President Obama invited by Queen Elizabeth II, who welcomes only two Presidents a year. Giving interviews to a number of the British media institutions, the President met with leading CEOs of the country and delivered speeches at the House of Commons, the CBI, Wilton Park and Guildhall as well as visiting the Portsmouth Martyrs Memorial hosting the graves of 26 Turkish marines.
